IMOS stands for "In
Memory Of Socrates." Socrates urged us all to use our minds and, more
specifically, our intellectual abilities to examine our lives, our
beliefs, our principles, our actions and our ideas. As individuals and
as a society, we far too often fail to follow this good advice. We are
so often woefully in error because we fail to scrutinise what we say,
what we do and what we believe by using the intellectual capacities at
essentially, a rather exclusive think-tank. We produce books, websites,
videos and other resources and we offer a variety of educational
courses, all with the aim of encouraging people to develop their
intelligent thinking skills.
books and websites are all written in plain English. We don't indulge in academic language, obscure
terms, business-speak or dodgy statistics. If you're impressed by those
sorts of things, try somewhere else!
You can support IMOS by buying some of our books. We also rely on donations from people who support our aim of promoting
intelligent thought. If you want to know more about making a donation,
please e-mail Admin@IMOS.org.uk
I thank you for your support of IMOS, either in making use of our services or in helping to fund our efforts.
